Michael Kligerman

Michael Kligerman is a Lower School Teacher, who has been working in the classroom for 8 years. Since graduating from DVFriends in 2011, he has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Adventure Education from Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina. In Asheville, he worked at Evergreen Community Charter School as an Associate teacher for 5 years supporting students in their academics as well as their social emotional needs. He moved to Denver in 2015, where he received a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Denver and subsequently taught in the area for 3 years. Looking for a new adventure, he taught in southwest Wyoming for a year before returning to the Philadelphia area to work at his alma mater. Michael has taught many topics ranging from math to mountain biking to reading to how to paddle a canoe. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, gardening, listening to audiobooks, and running with his 3 dogs and wife.
